hello blog! long time no blog on youuuu :) okay that was BAD use of english and jtoh will not be too pleased if he ever sees it. hoho.

on monday afternoon we had another congress meeting. twas okay. i was kinda sabotaged by olivia to be the secretary for the informal chat role play so i went to sit down at the laptop and i only typed 5 words then i was allowed to go back to my seat! :/ haha yiran and sophia are so FUNNY. i was trying not to laugh throughout small group discussion. "you see YOU SEE! that prefect just walked past me and said i had a safety pin on my belt! i don't like her!" hahaha yiran was kidding.

swim carn heats on wednesday. hehe not too bad this year, except for the fact that the sun was really scorching. the waiting area was really hot so we all just went to stand under the shade. and I FORGOT TO BRING GOGGLES. so gen, being kind as always, lent her pink goggles to me :) thanks gen! but no thanks for calling me blur again. she calls me blur like 3 times a day okay hmph.

swam 100m brst. haha it's my first time swimming brst in a comp after a dry spell of about 3 years okay. coolio eh? so i was really surprised that i was 1st, cos i thought liting would be quite fast O.o haha i guess i was mad for the second 50m, i really sprinted like crazy. well, im happy lah. thanks kat, deborah, doorman desiree, jamie and crystal for saying congrats. i appreciate it you know (:

the class relay thingy was soooo messy. kermit was incesantly shouting at everyone, especially my class, to sit down in an organised manner? haha. we were like running around trying to get water and we wanted to jump in the pool too cos it was really hot. sheesh :( haha. i think we made him rather pissed off cos he said to fel, "felicia, can you just sit down and stop moving?" hahah he should learn to relax yeah. breathe in, count to ten, breathe out! you will instantly feel more zen and relaxed! haha crap :D

then in the shower room, i did something really dumb. i forgot that it was separated into two rows, one of which was changing rooms and the other showers. so i stood before all the changing rooms and when one girl came out i went in and couldn't find the shower knob. obviously lah COS IT'S NOT EVEN A SHOWER. germ finally told me that the showers were behind the changing rooms. sigh i felt damn stupid. anyway thanks fishface, for waiting for me! (: went home with fish and germ.

school has been quite funny. felicia is becoming funnier and funnier each day :) she makes the funniest comments ever. and rachel the jester is super funny too! during maths lesson:

anyway something really horrible happened during SYO today :( we're all pissed off and sad at the same time. some of us wanted to cry bcos of that someone. meanieass. anyway, props to zhaohan for telling her straight to her face that she was rude and about the impudence and stuff. yeah. i know you're not going to see this, but cheer up zhaohan :)

i have tickets to watch WEST SIDE STORY! :D :D :D :D :D -cheeeeeeeeeeers wildly. thanks to my mom :) really looking forward to it. the main actor is cute :D

anyway today i finished my chinese review on one of the articles given to us. i think i did quite a good job lah, hopefully can get A :) another meeting next monday! sigh, why so many meetings :/

things to do
1. finish special service learning application form
2. finish physics kinematics worksheet
3. study social studies for test next tuesday
4. study history for test next thursday
5. MUG BIO :/ formative test next wednesday and summative test in week 10. bio rocks pls haha (: i am going to work hard for bio this year, yeahhh.
6. practice Liszt caprice and Bach tocatta for piano leson :/
7. practice double stops study and some parts of Mendelssohn violin concerto for violin lesson :/ thank goodness im almost done with trill studies.
8. practice Berlioz overture for SYO :/ the last part is super duper fast grr.

it sounds like alot right? but i have learnt to be happy with what i have :) cos there are others who are suffering so much more than me. may God help them.

i learnt from writing my chinese article review today that we cannot be happy if we are not contented. you might have everything, but if you aren't happy, then you aren't truly happy and lucky. it is only those who choose to face every single situation with a positive attitude, confidence and optimism that will be truly happy and lucky. the way you view life and obstacles that come your way is a CHOICE. you can choose to see it as a chore which you constantly complain and grumble about, or you can choose to make the best use of it and enjoy it while you can bcos it is an opportunity for you to do something useful (: life should be treasured bcos God only gave us each 1 life. live it fully and use it well.

today we had the maths test on algebraic manipulation and partial fractions and stuff -_-" i have minused about 4 marks already. ahh. hope i can get 30+. it's upon 40. yeah i must really do well for maths this year and get an A.

i found out that there's gonna be a bio test in week 10 :/ mug and memorise!

school swim heats this wednesday. do we get to miss CLE? :)

yesterday was student leaders investiture! congrats to the people who were invested :) peishan, i didn't see you for the cca captains thing leh, and you also didn't come for CT on thursday. hmm, get well soon ya :) sorry la teooo, i forgot to cheer for you! you looked so cute in your formal prefects' uniform, you know? hehe never mind, you know i love you right? thanks for putting up with my jokes on monday afternoon when we stayed back to do work. haha too bad i can't come for the choir concert!

after that, brendarling, she-kaye, beihan and i went for brunch :D brendarling and i had some tomato thing from pastamania. and and and BRENDARLING GOT TO SEE HAVAIANAS SLIPPERS. hehehe she didn't know where they were being sold so we brought her to heeren. i like the shop cos it's colourful :) brendarling took about an hour to buy a pouch. dots. haha sorry i know im not a good person to go shopping with, unless i go shopping for lesportsac stuff. i'll just go crazy. haha. went home at 1pm.

brendarling and beihan said that i was VERY GUAI :) "serene looks very guai and i bet she is." haha must be bcos i did all the extra maths right -_-"

here to revive the blog. i did about 5 hours of maths today (: owell, the test is coming up in about a week's time and i hope to do well so i guess the extra work will be worth it. we're also having a english GRAMMAR test in week 8. hahah funny huh -___-" correcting mistakes in the passage can be quite hard actually cos jtoh's setting the paper. erps. i hope the ss test is in week 9, not 8. at least it's gonna be source-based, so i can do better. lol. i know of about 5 tests we have so far but thankfully the last test is on 3rd march, friday. cos 5th march is my birthday (: pls remember! hahah.

got our first chinese assignment back, and i got like a B? haha. teo is so pro la.

today i woke up early to go to school for congress meeting. haha don't laugh. lynette and carmen! :( i still haven't decided on that thing. you know, the thing i kept asking both of you about! haha HELPPP.

anyway wenyi, lee ning and i left at 12pm for SYO. had famous amos chocolate chip cookies for lunch (: joanne was crazy as usual. i didn't fall asleep. hah.

im back! :) heehee. so russ, don't say this blog is dead okay?

yesterday was fun. went for morning training so i reached school at 7.50am. and i forgot that it was physics practical in the science lab for the first period! so when i went to class and found everyone gone, i went to the CLC place to find them, bcos i thought it was ENGLISH LESSON WITH JTOH :/ sigh, so blur huh. but there was no one in the CLC and it was then that i realised that it wasn't english but PHYSICS! woah. so i was standing at the 4th level corridor looking absolutely blurred out and dumb. i went back to class and brought my file and pencil case to the lab, but i also forgot to bring along my blue slip to show mr singh -_________-" anyway, i did the experiment faster than rachel aka JESTER and she was whining. hahah :)

recess with kat, zheel and ck was so fun! :) we had to protect ck from her new stalker! hahaha poor ck, she seems to be the object of many people's affections. AHEM :D we ate the macaroni with fried fish. very nice! :) and talked about alot of silly stuff and our class last year. 207 wheee. i found out that SOMEONE whom they thought liked me alot last year apparently didn't like me at all! so sad huh boohoo. hahaha i don't care. i said, "you know what, actually ___ didn't like me last year! haha!" kat was like, "really? i thought she liked you!" zheel was like, "yeah! we all thought SHE LIKED YOU ALOT! bcos everytime she would talk to you!" and she had this super shocked look on her face. looked like a goldfish haha.

assembly was fun. the overseas service learning sounds fun! but i don't want to go away for so long :/ and there are only 35 vacancies for sec 3s you need to write an essay explaining why you should be chosen to go! bleah. haha. shall TRY to get in for leadership service learning. special olympics aquatics thing sounds quite good :)

our school has so many different programmes for RS. odyssey of the mind (OM), destination imagination (DI), creative arts programme (CAP), science mentorship programme (SMP), humanities and social sciences research programme (HSSRP) etc. i think. remember our HSSRP proposal, suzy and germ? hahaha :) but we had fun la thought we didn't get in!

anyway during RS yesterday, the teachers proposed different projects. the lit projects all sound very cool! and there's bio projects on like ecology stuff and cooking! YUM :) the best one is the one on MALE PSYCHOLOGY. hahaha i wanted to do that one when i heard about it okay! i was like super excited while talking to kat.

me: wah! the male psychology project is like SO COOL. haha it sounds fun! let's do that one!
kat: i don't want! we are doing on sports science!
me: yeah but this sounds so much more interesting you know? we can yanyee to work with us! the male psychologist expert!
kat: where are we going to get info from huh?
me: err we ask our male friends to help. HAHA.
kat: HIEW... what are you thinking?
me: fine fineeeeeeeee. do sports then. hmph!

hahaha. SYO today was boring! i was so sleepy and i slept through a bit of the ravel. the ravel piece sucks. it sounds like weird middle eastern music. everyone doesn't like it! :( i bet the audience will fall asleep during our concert lah pls.

finished all the maths homework already :D haha byeeeeee.
