SCHOOL'S OUT.
SLEEP IS IN :D

anyway i heard that the english expository essay test is worth 35% of our whole grade or smth like that. omg pls let me do well. i did 2 chem assignments on ABS (acids, bases and salts) by myself :) it's very good for me already so stop thinking im so silly.

im gonna sleep now. there's syo tonight. hahah we're going to aberdeen next year! :D it's in europe. wheee.

i like nickelback O.o and i suddenly realised that i've never eaten at seoul garden in my life. haha random but owell.

teo stayed over at my house yday cos we were baking teachers' day brownies :) it was really fun hahaha. and i finally watched INCREDIBLE TALES! hahaha it's not too bad. i think the mistress was STUPID. anyway we wrote notes too! how kind of us. mr ng and ms kum's (math teachers) notes were really lame. we tried to write them using math terms and numbers. they were something like this:

"MR NG/MS KUM! we are writing this 4 you. 2day is teachers' day! thank you for making our lessons 3-ple the fun. we are sorry that sometimes we sleep like LOGS in class! :/ we should be LORN-ing (learning) instead! we will DIVIDE our time well between different topics so that there will be no REMAINDER in the QUOTIENT! we will get our parents to SIN (sign) our test papers COS (because) we TAN (tend) to want them to see our GOOD TO THE POWER OF 1000 marks! (which means very very good!)

yes we actually said that -.-" anyway since my grades have improved SOMEWHAT, especially for maths but i think it's mostly due to my own effort and germ's help, i decided to be nice and give all my subject teachers brownies. haha.

and there's a graphs test in term 4 week 1. the week right after the holidays :/ okay whatever i must get above 30/35 again bcos i think the EOY will be hard so i have to do well for this.

this is what i learnt from joanne today during SYO when we were all being nutty...

MALE WHALES' uh GENITALS ARE 3.6M LONG! ISN'T THAT LONG?

YES IT IS! bcos it is like 2.31 times my height! hoho i calculated. omg come to think of it, that's seriously bloody loooooooong.

however, joanne can be rather adorably silly at times so i don't know whether that statement is true and im too lazy to go check it up. whales are the largest mammals on earth so i guess it could well be true. if it's true it'll be quite amazing ;) apparently their genitals can expand and contract very fast. am i right, joanne? okay i shall stop being so pervy. STOP IT HIEW.

oral yesterday wasn't good. but piano was :) I PASSED THAT STUDY I WAS PRACTICING FOR AN HOUR A DAY! hahah yay. i passed it in like 2 weeks. that's the fastest ever since the start of the year hoho. the paganini-liszt caprice sounds really interesting. i fell asleep during chinese tuition. oops sorry. the last 3 chinese compos i passed up were all really mediocre -.-" for the first one i got 65/100, then 63, and lastly 62! wah im getting lousier every week. but at least i do my work unlike some people. haha.

i brought my pillow to school yday but it served no use cos physics was in the lab so obviously i had to do work. next was chinese but i quite like chinese lessons in sch so i didn't sleep. during assembly i had to take mins again so yeah, no pillow again :( then during rs, jianghe took the pillow and sat behind me so she could uh, doze off and i couldn't. last lesson was HISTORY! ms lim was in a bad mood so decided to be kind and not sleep. ARGH.

hello! hooray i've just finished the speech for english orals :) hope the 2 days of practice i have left will be fruitful. i am trying to do well for oral bcos my english marks currently stand at a dismal B, i think, as i did badly for the compre test. but ugh whatever, my compre has been terrible since p6. God, i pray that You will help me! if You bring me to it, You will bring me through it :D

argh. watched half of singapore idol tonight and i missed both PAUL TWOHILL'S performances! :/ shucks la, i quite like him actually haha. the double j's, joakim and jasmine, still suck. i hope they'll be kicked out soon. the only one who can carry a tune is hady. he's good!

finished a lot of work in school this week yay. but there's the bio urine samples report left. booo. im so sleepy -.-" just came back from practicing piano for nearly an hour? it was bad. i feel so demoralised now pls, i can't even play a study properly. let alone the bach toccata. but i still have a year left so it's not THAT bad. ~~i must achieve my goal!~~ my bach piece sounds bad, the beethoven sonata just sounds GROSS and my liszt piece just sounds so weird. i shall not let myself play so horribly anymore. oh shucks i realised that i have like half a book of studies left to complete. i must improve on technique like maaaaad.

erm ok i should stop complaining. germ's hilarious :D we were all trying the sesame street personality test thingy and i predicted that germ would be OSCAR THE GROUCH bcos she loves to sleep in school and when we wake her up she'll be really grouchy and she can be rather negative and also she has a kind of heck-care attitude. hahaha so she went to try the quiz one day during recess and i was peering over her shoulder at her answers. then when her results came out, it said YOU ARE OSCAR THE GROUCH and hahaha omg we screamed then we started laughing like mad pls! see, i know germ so well that my prediction was correct! but sadly, only two of us thought it was funny. hmph.

nvm germ, OSCAR IS GROUCHY BUT LOVABLE! AND I THINK HE'S VERY FUNNY IN THE TV SHOW! I LOVE OSCAR COS HE ALWAYS LOOKS SO CUTE WHEN HE'S GRUMPY! oh and he has this pet worm called slimy! :) hahaha!

last night i was doing maths and i wanted to finish up assignment 2 of graphs (though ms kum hasn't even given us a due date. hoho i am good) but well uhh, i ended up talking to bestie instead and hahah i enjoyed it so much. it was worth it, every single ~~minute~~ second of it. call me whenever you need anything bestie, i'll be there! <3

i am annoyed because...

1) i screwed up my graph for physics spa
2) i am not good at drawing logarithmic graphs
3) i don't have ideas for the english speech :(
4) i can't play my piano studies properly. my fingers can't move fast enough HELP PLS.
5) mrt beats around the bush and doesn't get the the point

i slept from 4-7.30pm today (: haha it was good! then i woke up and had delicious prawn mee with chilli soup. yay.

limin the momo and i (and whoever is coming) are going out tomorrow after national day celebrations! :) haha yay it's the first time im going out with her.

today was a rather good day, though i had to survive on 5 hours of sleep the night before. i was doing the graphs worksheet and ms kum didn't even go through all of it :/ booo. did well for math test! haha yay 31/35 I DID IT wheeeehooooo :) too bad i was blind huh? ohwell. finally took my history test today after school. it was source-based so it wasn't as bad as structered essay questions, i guess. i think i screwed up my last question though.. never mind. i know God will bring me through it :) hope i get A+ hahah lol.

argh i don't like sch celebrations haha. germ will entertain me :) we have to wear red or white so i gleefully picked my ELMO T-SHIRT! haha elmo is red ok. and i don't care, im wearing my birkies. they're not counted as slippers xD

im too tired. i should think the whole family is, after all that's happened this week. not to mention that singapore casket really is a depressing place. that's where i spent the last 4 days. i never knew my cousins could cry so hard.

however, looking on the bright side i guess our family has become closer and more bonded, somehow. i had some cousins whom i didn't speak much to before but now i think they're so funny and i love them :) especially stuart chan shiyang. fishball! hahaha. those were really good times. and sheena aka QING MING. and beverly! hahaha we have to watch more ms swan videos together. let's draft a list of questions to ask the people in the music school and we can go bother them like crazy! september holidays are coming, we can put our wonderful plan into action then :]

my history test was postponed till monday. thanks ms lim. i've studied today and am going to study more tomorrow. french revolution is interesting :)

brought some work to spore casket (that's where the wake was held) and ATTEMPTED to do it. i REALLY DID TRY but that place is simply too DEPRESSING. believe me, it's not a conducive studying environment. plus, it's freezing cold. thank God for my furry purple jacket. well fine, perhaps i was a little distracted by all the food like cadbury chocolates, sweets, japanese crackers, JAPANESE CUP NOODLES <3 and so on. cup noodles from the japan are the love. "SOME BOMB!" -quote glen :)

but anyway i hardly got anything done except for a little bit of maths and anyway i ended up colouring my math worksheet with my highlighters and zig pens -.-" i don't like graphs. but i MUST get A+ for the remaining math tests if i want to get an overall A for math. urgh. i should think i got an A+ for the last one. i hope so. i only wish i weren't so BLOODY BLIND >:( nvm i know mr ng is nice, he'll give me some marks for that :) ~~a 30 would make me so happy, pls mr ng, give me a 30 at least?~~

sigh so yeah this week was quite sad but bestie really cheered me up :D love! thanks for everything.

uncle bert, your passing was quite a shock for us. it was all so sudden. we never thought we would have to bid farewell to you so soon. i never thought that day i saw you in the hospital was the last day i would ever see you alive. when i saw you in the casket, a part of me was saying that you were gone but the other part was screaming and rebelling like crazy, refusing to believe that you were really gone. i was really silly, still hoping you'd pop out of that casket and tell us you were still here. i believe that even if i did not really see you that much, all the time that i spent with you was very fulfilling. we always would have so much fun at those wonderful family gatherings. my parents' 25th anniversary at our home was the last time we would have a celebration with you around. now when i turn around and look at that dining table, i can still see your face there. i can see our whole family there, laughing and doing the thing we do best: EATING :) it was our favourite thing to do. i remember how you took me out for boon tong kee chicken rice a few times. that was your favourite, wasn't it? everytime i think of boontongkee now, i somehow think of you and how much you would enjoy it if you were here with us. i remember the seafood dinner at long beach we had a few years' ago when you told me that the lobster at the next table was still alive and how when it moved its claws i screamed and you were laughing your deep, hearty laugh. i can see your face now, smiling and laughing. i wish you were here to share youf joy with us. i always looked forward to those family gatherings or christmas parties at your barker road house. i would always be very eager to open the christmas present from you and aunty chui foong because i knew it would be something good. as i am sitting her now typing this, i look up on my right and i see a family photo. that was 5 years ago at a chinese new year dinner. all of us were there, even grandpa and aunty hoon. those were very very good memories. i know how much you loved soccer and wanted us to quickly finish watching lord of the rings so you could watch the english premier league :) and i guess now i have to accept the fact that you are gone. friday was a painful day for us. after that the family, about 30 of us, went to min jiang at one-north for dinner. wish you were there. i bet you would have loved it, especially the roast chicken. but we all have to go on living our normal lives, though i know that we all miss you. i find joy in the fact that you're up there with God. i know you're in a better place and you don't ever have to suffer anymore :) you were a good Christian and an example for all of us to follow. i know God has a big reward in store for you. you should be checking out the golf courses in heaven now. haha. on friday when i put my flower down on your casket, i cried because it was the last time i would ever see you in physical form again. but i know you're happy up there and you want us to be happy. thank you for all these years and bringing so much joy to the family :) we'll meet again one day and have a big happy family reunion in heaven.

I MISS GRANDPA TOO :( why was i not as nice as i should have been to him? he was so caring. i still remember on the day he passed away, he was still asking how i was going home from school and saying that i had to be careful while crossing the road. sigh. i love that picture of grandpa and me in the kitchen, taken when i was 4.
