the talk on eating disorders by mr michael smthiforgothissurnameoops was interesting. rather inspirational too. it teaches us not to be maniacally obsessed with how we look or how much we weigh. dying from anorexia or bulimia's gross and really sad.
but owell, i guess in this society where we have so many media influences screaming at us "THIN IS BEAUTIFUL" it can't be helped that we think that it's good to be thin. hmm i think the best is to be healthy :D haha.

my "things to do after EOY's list" is rather strange. the first four things on the list all have to do with work, somehow.
1) practise piano every day!
2) START 1ST DRAFT OF RS REPORT NOW (kat are you reading this haha) and finish conducting the interviews with respective people >.<
3) read chinese book(s)
4) actually START going back for swimming trg
and some parts sound really ironic.
12) exercise a lot more! GO RUNNING! and lose some weight.
13) FOLLOW UP ON BUFFET AND ICE CREAM PLANS WITH SAL KAT AND SEE! :)
oh, the irony. buffets are the last thing i need. hahaha.
and btw i think the ______ thing is UNFAIR cos they are really _____ and they did not meet the criteria and they ___________! in that case, i should have gotten it too last time. -sulks.

i love good music :) actually, i don't really like some of the songs i claim to like a lot. it's just that they have a special meaning to me. some songs remind me of some people. hmm.
we got children's day cards from mr lau. we aren't children anymore, but he wants us to remember the child in us :D THANKS MR LAU. YOU ARE REALLY NICE!

omg last friday's RS block was the CRAZIEST FUN I'VE HAD since the visit to see's house, ignoring the fact that see's irritating brother was present that time. sal kat see are you reading this! hahah thank you for making my laugh filled with laughter. I AM NOT TREATING YOU ALL TO SEOUL GARDEN OR SAKAE SUSHI OR ANY OTHER BUFFET YOU GOONS. IM ONLY TREATING YOU ALL TO ICE CREAM! and that's already rather kind of me (: i don't think we laughed like this even in sec 1 and 2. maybe now we're closer. haha we've grown up! we were being complete nuts, even when justin teo came in our faces were pink from laughing. we were crapping about HALLOWEEN and trick or treat! and other lame things. and i was saying ghost costumes were nice then they all laughed at me! :(

anyway, i just had a crazy thought. i would love to be like the finalists on 'so you think you can dance' cos their dancing is REALLY GOOD and they are really hot haahha. i think dancing can be like a form of escapism, for some people. like how some people like to sing to relieve stress. aiya i sound so incoherent. but dancing is really cool really cool and i think i was stupid to give it up when i was around 8 years old just cos of some anmoh girls in my class who were really mean to me just cos i was asian -.-" they would speak french to each other, which i wouldn't understand, and laugh at me la. so mean. and i knew they were talking about me cos i heard my name being mentioned a few times in their conversation. look, if you hate me so much you could just tell me. i wouldn't mind. and they act so FAKE in front of everyone else. they only make fun of me when it's just me and them in the dance studio.

sometimes i wonder whether im REALLY mean... or whether i just choose to be really mean to certain people all the time. owell. im not outright mean (like i wouldn't laugh at you if you slipped on a banana peel and fell), just that i have very very horrible thoughts about the same people all the time! :/ i know they didn't do anything evil of the sort but i just don't like them at all. sometimes i resent people cos they are so authoritative. well pardon me, maybe im just going through a little rebellious stage (:

tough choice :( haha ohman i wouldn't ever want to choose. i would grapple with having to choose only ONE person. but i would choose someone whom i know would stick with me for life, through the good or bad times. someone who was always there for me, all the time. someone who would stay up to listen to all my crazy rants and put up with my blurness, short-term memory, silliness etc. someone who wouldn't judge me based on whatever happens, but just love me for who i am. someone who i could always have fun with and be happy around hahaha. happiness is very important! someone whom i could resolve conflicts with. i sound so troublesome. but IM A VERY SIMPLE PERSON :) isabel could testify to that!

ohwell. finished the reflection-proposal for ss pt :) spent about 2 hours on smth worth only 4 marks. sigh. the rubrics for this ss pt are rather confusing, to me at least. hope to get 4.0 for this pt. that's all.
chem pt turned out better than i thought it would be. hawhaw. hope i get 4.0 for that too. i need it more for chem than for ss. i think i got like the lowest in the class for chem in semester 1. thanks a lot, _____. that's why now i need to pull up my grade like mad.
doing physics pt now.
this post sounds damn sad, if you hadn't already realised. my posts are getting more boring everyday, aren't they?

listening to backstreet boys songs is a guilty pleasure. im actually singing along :)
everyone listen up! ISLAND CREAMERY'S BURNT CARAMEL ICE-CREAM IS THE BEST ICE-CREAM ON EARTH! :D yes yes, i really hate to say this but IT'S EVEN BETTER THAN BEN&JERRY'S ORIGINAL FLAVOURS! excluding the ones with funky fillings of course, i love those. everyone should try the caramel ice-cream! don't let the word BURNT put you off. it tastes absolutely FANTASTIC. the texture is really smooth and you can really taste the yummy caramel! the aftertaste is something like coffee and caramel mixed together. final verdict? IT'S LOVELY AND YOU MUST TRY IT! :) unfortunately, island creamery only has one outlet at serene centre. hawhaw MY centre! :) i guess it's not too far for me cos it's only like, 3 bus stops away? but whatever, go try it! it's WORTH the travelling time. well maybe my view is biased cos im a big CARAMEL FAN so of course i'd love this :D try try TRY!
getting back graphs test tmrw. baaah :/ 30 come on 30! ms kum told us that rate of change is gradient TODAY. thanks a lot. should have told us before the test then i wouldn't have not known how to do the question. i wrote some rubbish which is most probably wrong. maybe i'll get 0.5 marks. hawhaw.

i love peanuts! not the edible crunchy ones, THE CARTOON! :) snoopy, charlie brown, lucy, woodstock etc. I LOVE SALLY THE MOST I THINK SHE'S DAMN CUTE! and she's so small and young and the things she says are SOOOOOPER FUNNY! SOOOOOO CUTE! that day i was in the library borrowing books for history and physics pt's when i chanced upon this peanuts anniversary book thingy so i borrowed it too haha. it's about 3cm thick and it keeps me thoroughly entertained. I LOVE IT :D i hate lucy, she's always so mean saying charlie brown is stupid and kicking her little bro linus! whatever I LOOOOOOVE PEANUTS :)

ss and physics pt's are... in progress ;) i found a MEDICAL ENCYCLOPAEDIA at home for physics pt. nehneh. my parents are really smart people. they bought all these books when i was about 2 years old cos they knew i would have use for it in the future. and were they right :) CLEVER MOM! CLEVER DAD! haha. i loveeeee them!
and the physics pt sparked off my interest in physics! ok i know i sound SO nerdy cos hardly anyone likes physics and they are going to think i am mad for saying this. i was reading the science encyclopaedia volume 1, which includes this chapter called world of physics or smth like that. it is REEEEALLY informative and VERY VERY UNLIKE what we are taught in class. it is actually very interesting and shows us how relevant the use of physics is in everyday life. love it! ;D haha. MUST PRESERVE THESE WONDERFUL BOOKS AND KEEP FOR MY KIDS IN THE FUTURE!
i refuse to read the chapter on chemistry. -GAGS AND DIES.

oh i have to mention this! i know i sound very silly but we did a higher chinese paper 2 (the one with all the comprehensions) mock test in tuition during the hols! it was quite difficult for me cos my chinese isn't great at all :/ but we got our marks back yesterday and I GOT A B4! B4 YEEEEEAHHH! haha yes i know a B4 isn't remarkable and not something to shout about but my chinese is quite bad, especially my compre! this is a GREAT improvement from last year's paper 2 during EOY's, in which i did soooooo badly. and this is HIGHER CHINESE, not chinese :) yay i am so pleased. i really did try very hard for this test, even though it isn't counted >.< i wanted to do okay to give myself some hope for chinese! and i did! hooray :D thank God! now hopefully i can do okay for chinese EOY. -gags.
ss pt and physics pt need to progress FASTER. so byebye :)

joanne came over to my house on thursday before syo and helped me with chem pt :) thanks jo! margaret is super funny. she wanted to use POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE as the other reagent for her new method. then i was like, "wah you want the mixture to explode?" and jo, margaret and i were all laughing like crazy. joanne even said that after the explosion you could pick up all the bits that exploded and it'd be a pure sample already -____-"
we passed up history pt yesterday :/ mine was really colourful... very unlike almost everyone's except chaochao's. erm, i thought the target group would like colours and lots of pics to enhance their understanding? haha. hope to do really well for this cos i have only 82% left for history. grumblegrumble i think i will most definitely not get 4.0 for hist then, unless i get close to full marks for this pt and get like 23/25 for the EOY. booo. i don't understand why my conclusions are always not that good. i try to include new insights and all but they just don't work :( nvm shall ask beehoon again hahaha.
i have good news on the maths test! :D mr ng said that if you forgot equations, it would just be 1 mark off for the whole test. i think i forgot 2 equations. and THEY CARRY ERRORS FORWARD hohoho. oh and he said that for the cubic graph even if your point of inflection is wrong (which mine was sheesh), they are just looking for shape of graph and intercepts so they might not minus ANYTHING for the question since it's only 2 marks. haha :) so i might get 30+ yay.

you see, my history and ss are definitely fine, maths too. (MUST MUG FOR MATHS MUST GET 3.6 OVERALL) bio just requires a lot of studying and my physics is ok (MUST GET 3.2 AT LEAST!). but my chem is just horrible. and chem is a lot of concepts right? THEY ARE STILL TESTING ON MOLE CONCEPT MOLE CONCEPT WTH I AM SO PISSED.
i STILL have to study that gross topic. i don't get ANYTHING and neither can i do ANY of the questions. i still don't know what percentage yield and empirical formula is. it just shows how hopeless i am at this subject. and chem is supposed to be the easiest science. it's not. but since this EOY is 35% i am going to start studying chem and bio after the next week when im done with pt's.
anyway after EOY's i will have a pepper lunch date with joanne! :) and im treating cos it's my belated bday present for her. VERY belated, actually. haha. ice cream date with crystal whom i love muchly! sleepover with crys fang and izzy and maybe cycling and seafood included! :D haha. and a lot of sleeping zzzzzz me the pig. oh syo camp too! haha. and MUST PRACTICE PIANO EVERY DAY! START TRG, though i don't think i'll be going often. DO RS! :/ we can't rush it all out next year when school re-opens so we hafta do at least a 1st draft of the entire report! ok kat? ok! :D

hooray i've finished history pt :) i didn't do on liberty in the end, though i would have loved to. i just couldn't relate it to the targe group well.

geez. i hope to like, SCRAPE an A for chem. i got so low for my practical when everyone else got so high. i didn't understand mole concept, that's all! :( and mole concept made me flunk my chem test. luckily it was only 15%. thanks a lot. if it weren't for mole i could have gotten a B+ or smth. so my chem pt really needs to be good! im not bad at writing aunt agony style and magazine format. just do it horrible science books style yeah? i wish -.-" anyway sorry for not updating for 5 days. will update later when i've finished more of the PT's. see's early bday celebration was fun and so was the apsc meet. hehe. bio lesson on wednesday was really interesting. from the lesson, i learnt about 50% bio and 50% about mrt.
i am not going to comment on public domain bcos i know some it-savvy teachers can access our blogs. i shall keep all comments, as negative as they are, to myself and myself alone. maybe i'll tell my bear, but that's it.
don't look at me that way. i know what i am saying and that you might not like me for it. but i am not going to say what happened here as i think it would be pretty mean. besides, if he doesn't like practically all of us, which altogether is more than 100 people, what can we possibly do about it?

WE LOVE YOU SEE XINYING. thanks in advance for waking up tmrw at 8.30am to welcome us to your house. now that i come to think of it, you are really one of the funniest, cutest friends i have ever met. it's been such an honour to meet you and have you in my life. sec 1 and 2 were so hilarious with you around. i know i didn't like our class but you, sal, fart and germ made those 2 years so much more tolerable. remember how in sec 2 we would always sit at the same round table in the canteen and gossip and laugh and suan each other? how we always ate the chicken rice on tuesdays? how i did my homework at the guides table after school until 5pm and got scolded by you and sal? the times when we went to your house rather often to do PT's? the time when i wanted to walk to parkway parade from your house and you and sal kept laughing at me? the times we spent at burger king, laughing until we snorted our drinks out? the time we fought with your brother with water guns and i smacked him on the head? >.<>highly commended, 2nd highest grade with the top 85-95% getting that hahaha, for the exam while you both just got a pass? ;)
and of course, the hilarious art lessons in school where the 5 of us (you me sal fart germ) were really naughty and kept talking during class and how we were made to stand up together for like 5 mins? and how in the end i got an overall grade of EXCELLENT for art and you, fart and germ were shrieking at me? ;D actually i also dunno how it happened but im so glad it did. must've been my last project where i did this really cute cartoon cube thingy.
haha. the 4 of you have filled my sec 1 and 2 life with such lovely memories :) i thank God that all of you came into my life.
on this day, i want to thank you for accepting me for who i am cos i know that in sec 1, initially i was quite mean to you and sal! >.< thank you for listening to me when i told you some of my problems. thank you for believing that i wasn't so dumb after all and for congratulating me on my last 2 math tests :) thank you for doing bio PT with me in sec 1 and for working so hard with me cos we did pretty well and my bio grade was 4.0 that time hahaha which is damn good for ME. thank you for putting up with me during chinese PT though my chinese is so much lousier than yours. thank you for letting me smack you! thank you for being one of the only people who sincerely congratulated me when i got into SYO. (now i have higher aspirations but i've gotta practice so much harder! BUT i'll make them come true one day :] )

chem PT sucks. i've been pondering over the question for days and can't find anything wrong with it. guess i hafta work much harder. physics/ss/history PT's are okay. im gonna get full marks HELLYEAH! :D haha hiew, don't fool yourself.
see is damn funny! hahahahaha! seriously, she sounds like squidward from spongebob squarepants :) so cute! and she insulted me by saying my voice sounded like ms swan's. thanks A LOT. we spent like 45 mins yesterday talking about ms swan, trying to imitate the videos and laughing like crazy freaks. i never laughed so much in a phone convo in my life. hahaha. then we were talking about sec 1 and how SUPER BLUR we were. probably still ARE ;]

SYO today was fun :) the malaysian people came and we had reception with them! yum yum. as usual, we ran out of chicken wings really fast. the carrot cake wasn't that great though. i think they used weird oil. it wasn't popular and there was quite a lot of leftover carrot cake. erm hehe. i was trying to sing the faith hill song and leening kept staring at me... either i sounded good or bad xD i hope it's the former! haha EGO.

today is friday. it's the first day of the holidays :) rejoice!
i had a nightmare that i failed the graphs test. it was HORRID and i was extremely DISP
last night LEASED. hahaha not funny teo -.-" i don't wanna remember it!
