last post for 2006. it was a great year. everything was just good about it. i don't think there were many bad things about this year and if they were, i've chosen to forget them and only keep the happy memories.
highlights of the year! :D
307! haha this is the BEST class so far in my life in rgs. well, i've only had one other class which was so urgh, no more comments. but admittedly i DID meet hilarious people like sal and seezeezee in 107/207. but 307 is just different. we're so quiet in front of the teachers and they think we're all dead or sleeping. when they're gone, all hell breaks loose :D that's a little exaggerated but the class can get really noisy. pe lessons with this class are always damn fun. i remember how after pe many people would spray their deodorant in class and it would STINK real bad. haha and how kum always got so mad that we didn't take out our maths worksheets on time. class lunches at the end of the year were fun (: netball carn was one of the funnest days of the year. all the trgs before that, all the laughs, all the crap had just cumulated into lots of fun. we were really quite bonded. it was just so good to see the smiles on everyone's faces. maybe we lost but we'll win next year :D who could forgot mrt's memorable lessons and all his famous lines? he really DREADED us and we were the most unresponsive class ever. haha. our class had like the best form teacher in the whole level! yay we love lau! some of my friends were jealous that lau was our form teacher (: NOT the first form teacher, she was eeuw. anyway it's not good to have a class that's super noisy. 307 was fantastic luh :D looking forward to more fun as 407 next year and i hope we become even more bonded! LOVESSSSSS.
OBS -.-" my first time kayaking! i enjoyed it very much and trekking through the mud swamp was super funny but if you ask me i'd rather NOT go back to obs. oh germ, we had such good memories at that pulau ubin place :D remember how we jumped off the pile of mud and splashed around in the dirty water and jumped into the nearest kayak screaming? we were such slackers who went to the back of the line so we wouldn't have to help drag the kayaks across the road hahaha. on the last night i went over to your tent and we were laughing the whole time. remember my stupid jokes? and your stupid laugh when i told you how i risked my life to save a pair of scissors! remember how everyone was kayaking so fast and we purposely went so slowly so we could talk as loud as we wanted? then we were lagging behind by so much hehe. omg how could i forget that WE HAD TO SAVE ROXY GIRL COS HER KAYAK CAPSIZED IN THE DIRTIEST PART OF THE SWAMP! argh we were damn irritated with her. anyway thanks for being so funny :D oh and limin was gossip queen and jianghe was gossip king! haha. we were being noobz in the tent!
chinese new year in malaysia! (: haha my little cousin BHJ is super cute! ahhhh he's so funny and he loves my dad. he only gets excited when my dad comes and starts making more noise. when anyone else comes, he doesn't look that excited. when bhj's family came to stay at our house, he was super high and crazy and was still singing at 12am. that's quite good for a 5 year old huh. oh and i have a japanese cousin yay :D
forfeit during chinese class! ): haha brenda, ck and i had to make sandwiches for the whole class cos our group got the lowest score. SUCKS haha. gong laoshi thought it was funny. brenda and i nicked some extra sausages from the can. whee.
donjuan! okay so this is how i first started becoming good friends with chaoying. that noob didn't know what donjuan meant so she went to check the dictionary then when she found out, she was like, "HEY HIEW! DONNY!" and that's how i got the dumbest nickname ever. lame shite haha but i still love her.
my birthday! (: cos my classmates got me a pair of havainas cartunistas slippers! haha they're damn cute and im still wearing them quite often. and the pink nalgene bottle came in very handy! they're such GENEROUS people eh. i must remember to give them all bday presents next year!
swim carn! not that i remember much about it but we went to marche for lunch and it was leening's first time there :D so i was very proud of her hahaha.
burn the floor! :D it was a dance show i watched with my mom and i thought it was really excellent, in terms of music and dancing. the dancers had so much chemistry and they put so much feeling into their art. aiya it was just SUPERB and if they come back you all must watch them!
the DON&DONNY show on channel 69 showing the greatest volleyball match on earth! the teevees vs the beuragardes! obviously chaoying and i, who were the beuragardes, LOST very badly. haha but it was fun!
syo agm. the games were really funny with jeremiah and bojun around :D i don't think i need to elaborate more hahaha. and i still remember bojun's carwash outfit.
last day of school when i made my first visit to art friend! haha now i love that shop and i go there almost everytime im at taka (: all the stuff they sell there is so nice! artsy colourful things made me happy. i shall buy engraving art!
BIO PT WITH GERM TEO AND CHAOYING! it was the best pt ever hahah. we had so much fun at my house and chao's house. teo shouting "listen to me" and the broken tape recorder! we ate a lot too! next time there'll be more ice-cream okay. fine so our marks were completely unjustified and mrt was unreasonable. actually our marks were quite good but we were unhappy about it and only 4 of us will understand why. nvm next year we'll do another pt together and aim higher to get like 23/24! :D lovessss!
JAPAN TRIP! my dad was so clever. he was super good at navigations and he brought us to all these cool places. we even stayed really high up in the mountains and took the bullet train every day! :D my dad stayed in japan for 2 years to study! hahah what a coolio. all the food was fantastic, especially the ramen and sushi. only thing i didn't like was that so many people in japan smoke! but other than that, JAPAN ROCKZORZZZ.
[btw i found out yesterday that ryosuke irie lives in OSAKA! that was the first place we went to and also the first place we had the yummy ramen, original takopachi and tempura buffet. anyway we didn't get to see ryosuke in osaka and i think i am going to cry ): im going to japan again and i will ask yuki to introduce me to ryosuke! haha yuki might even be in the same swimming club as ryosuke! but i don't think that's possible cos yuki lives in kawasaki and ryosuke in osaka ): boooooo! nvm yuki's super fast, maybe he'll get into the national team soon and then he can be helpful and let me meet ryosuke :D hahaha wheeee i wish! anyway the national teams for whatever sport in japan are super hard to get into. i hope yuki makes it really soooon! haha see yuki, im still so nice to you. oh i remember that yuki's little bro rikuto was super cuteee and his cheeks were SO NICE haha. YAY FOR JAPS!]
school nats. there weren't many good things about it but the memorable thing is that it was at that meet that i decided to retire after sec 4. a milestone in my life eh! :D anyway swimming's getting really boring. i only like to watch people swim haha.
syo visit to istana! haha zhengyi was being a retard before we met the president. damn funny (: and zhu en's appetite is SHOCKING.
LAU COMING TO TAKE OVER MUTHU! omg that was like the best day of my life studying chem. yay lau rocksssssss and im sorry mr lau that my chem was so lousy this year haha. i can't be as good as the germ! i can't CATCH THE GERM! ): but i will try harder to get a 3.6 for chem next year haha.
teo staying over at my house before teachers' day to bake brownies! haha teo, remember how we gave mrt the smallest brownie? haha and how we ate some of the brownies meant for the teachers by ourselves! oops. why are you sucha noob? I ALWAYS HAVE TO RESCUE YOU FROM THE RAIN! hahah.
sesame street personality test! hahah chaoying was bert, teo was ernie and i was ernie as well! (: but im the original ernie and teo's the impersonator cos i fit the description ten times better than she does haha. THE GERM WAS OSCAR THE GROUCH hahaha IT WAS SUPER FUNNY! ok so only germ and i laughed ourselves crazy but whatever.
magic pig family that we formed during career guidance! haha there are 9 of us now. hiewpig, germpig, teopig, felpig, chaopig, kwokypig, sammypig, jiangpig and momopig! wheee we have to take a pig portrait soon! and what happened to our pig conference? owell.
VISIT TO SEEZEEZEE'S HOUSE WITH SAL! her brother was still the annoying twit that he was last time. hello you twit, you have no muscles at all! stop saying im fat cos even if i am i think i am still thinner than you hoho. the baking was kind of a failure but nvm haha. blackie the dog liked to sniff pple's butts! hehe. i was supposed to go home at 1 but in the end i went home at 3.30pm cos sal and see made me bake with them. remember the SAPPORO POTATO? hahah. it was really fun.
PT WEEK! whooooo it was actually quite okay. my physics pt wasn't that good but i started the day before so i didn't really mind my marks. i got 12/20 for chem pt which i was grumpy about at first but after germ told me half the level failed chem pt i didn't really mind :D hahah.
watching 'death note' with teo, chao and fel :D haha it was my first time watching a japanese movie. don't say i am a noob. L was soooo coooool haha! the actor who plays L is called ken'ichi matsuyama and HE HAS THE SAME BIRTHDAY AS ME (:
QUICK FICS! crys, fang, izzy and i have renamed ourselves quick fics. we made up a song about that too! hahah omg we are really silly and i love us very much :D we weren't this crazy in mgs primary. hey you 3, you'll always be my goodiest friends! (goodiest isn't a word but who cares) let's have many more reunions!
inter-class games :D haha 307 was REALLY ENTHU! we got 1st for rugby and 3rd for softball. we didn't win anything for volleyball but nvm! haha the last softball match we played was really fun. we played against 304 and i think our enthusiasm put them off greatly haha (: we were screaming really loudly when we scored an inning. and on my last run i ran like some headless chicken! erm so we won the game in the end 15-6 :D haha don't worry 304, you beat us on the previous encounter ok and we still think you all were good.
netball carn! hoho we were really good! and bonded and ENTHU and cheery and everything happy! (: i was so proud of us la. out of 15 matches we won 9, lost 3 and drew 3 hehe. we will try to win next year! haha class lunch after that was fun too. and adi had to put up with my numerous questions when we were watching the prestige. haha sorry adi!
cruise with izzy! :D a really good trip and shopping in thailand was fantastic cos we got most of the stuff at really cheap prices. izzy was fantastic company and she's really a good friend, someone whom i'll always treasure and never forget. love you izzy! thanks for everything <3
WEP with margaret (: haha i think we somehow became closer friends. working in the paediatric ward has really opened my eyes to what life as a doctor is like. it's actually really stressful and scary but the doctors are really brave. their working hours are very long every day and they don't get much rest. wep also spurred me on to work harder for all my sciences, esp chem cos chem's my lousiest subject! haha. anyway my dad is really eager to have a doctor in the family :/ lol but i like artsy things more than science ones. we'll see.
syo camp! :D haha last year's camp activities were more fun but THIS YEAR'S COMPANY WAS BETTER. i made great friends there and we had fun together playing soccer/bball/captain's ball and life-sized table soccer was the most hilarious game ever. can't believe i fell down AGAIN! hmph. the movie we watched was really inspiring as well. all the talks, laughs, bridge sessions, poker sessions, prata, watching margaret sleeping in a really funny way were all very good memories. hope next year's camp will be even better (:
KOREAN DRAMAS! :D ok so i've caught the korean craze too! and i think i'll catch the jap wave soon, oh no. so i watched princess hours and full house this year after eoy's and both were HAHAHA SUPER FUNNY! kdramas rock (: the actors and actresses are really cute and amusing. i kinda like rain now. i have many korean songs on my computer now haha. YAY KOREAN!
church youth camp ENCOUNTER '06 (: very spiritually boosting. overnight worship was the best thing ever. thank the Lord for making it all happen and for showering us with so many blessings. made many new friends and im glad i went for this camp. murika was the best group. hope all you murikians had as much fun as i had! ROCK YOUR MURUKUU :D
family dinners (: i will always enjoy our gatherings, no matter where we go. the food is always good and the company is fantastic. im blessed to have sucha fabulous family. thank you Lord. i live for our family dinners haha. and i love my grandma, she's so cute! :D i hope next year we'll meet up like once a week at grandma's house or my house. hahah we always have lots of laughs.
RYOSUKE IRIE! :D i saved the best one for last. i saw him while watching the asian games and i thought he was the CUTEST guy everrrrrr. utt and edison chen are history! yeah even before his race started, i was rooting for him. when he won, i was SO HAPPY (: yay he looked so cute when he realised that he won. his race was all red and he was making the victory sign hahah awwww! and he looked SUPERHOT SUPERCUTE when he received his gold medal on the rostrum okay! hahah to me, he's the epitome of CUTENESS! i know a lot of you think i am crazy but i don't care. i just think he's very very extremely cute and im sad that i didn't see him in osaka! argh yuki YOU MUST HELP ME FIND HIM pls. haha okay go click on profile to see my cutie (: YAY JAPANNN!
that's the end of my list now. it's really long eh. anyway i have a few resolutions for 2007 but im not gonna post them here. but i can say that im gonna work really hard next year, in terms of studies and music. not really for swimming but i think i'll do just fine haha. i just wish for a JAPAN WORM for my birthday next year! (: of anything japanese. hehe.

uh, happy boxing day (: haha i want to learn japanese and korean.
i haven't watched a single movie this holidays, hoho. the last time i watched any movie was on netball carn with my lovely classmates. but still, i liked this hols.
christmas cards that i wrote this year were quite a success, just that alvin left church early and i didn't get to pass him his card and m&m's. booooooo ): sorry that i didn't get gifts for anyone. you all have to make do with cards hahaha.

okay firstly
MERRY CHRISTMAS! :D
spread the love, joy and peace. it's Jesus' birthday! haha.
church camp was great :) i had a lot of fun. thanks to my group, murika, for all the laughs! yeah murika is the loveeeee. and thanks to the camp committee for all your effort put into organising this camp. we all appreciate it. 'whose line is it anyway' was totally hilarious. sq is the ultimate joker :D our third world meal of plain porridge, which tasted even more bland than water, was certainly memorable. christmas buffet-like dinner on the last day was super yummy, esp the bbq ribs.
there was one game where we had to roll around in soap :/ it was dirty but damn fun la haha. JUMPING JACKS were the highlight of the games eh. haha okay im sorry qing, i'll stop laughing about that already.
camp was also very spiritually boosting. i think i need to start reading my bible more. argh and i should try to go for youthphoria on saturdays. haha i didn't know the pple from church were so funny?! especially sq and darius.
btw JULIEN ONEHILL, YOUR PERFORMANCE WAS LIKE THE BOMB :D haha super funny! i'll remember it forever okay.
the last 2 days were spent writing christmas cards. im writing nearly 50 all by hand. how kind! hah. i have some extra ones so IF YOU WANT A CARD, msg me your address or smth. see, im being all jolly :)
full house rocks hahah. im watching the last episode right now! rain looks funny when he pouts and all. now rain, ji eun, hye won and min hyuk are all happy :D they're playing at the arcade now. rain looks shocked. hahahah. the full house soundtrack is nice! ah they're all having a barbeque now ): i wanna have one too!
xmas party at my aunt's house this evening! there's a chocolate fountain and marshmallows. haha. im a pig, i know.

anyway i forgot to blog about this. it was a week ago but well, crystal and i went to vivocity last thursday and it was fun. haha we ate a lot, oops! carl's jr's onion rings are really big. taiwan shilin chicken is gooooooood but so oily ): we saw guinea pigs at the pet shop which were super cute, decided that a lot of autobiographies written by celebrities were lousy, laughed and were silly, got lost trying to find the toilet, took more than an hour to find a nice t-shirt to buy and in the end i got a nice tshirt from pull and bear, went crazy at candy empire, bought sushi from the supermarket, ran away from her family, wandered around in toys r'us and anyway it was fun and CRYSTAL ROCKS :D
malaysia trip was fun too. the hawker food there is better than sg's but it's oilier and saltier too. OH I ATE MY PRAWN MEE WITH A LOT OF CHILLI SAUCE YUMYUM I LOVE CHILLI and THE CHAR KWAY TEOW THERE IS FABULOUS and THE YONG TAU FU THERE IS MUCH BETTER THAN ANY YONG TAU FU I HAVE EATEN IN SG OK. even the tofu is good! you don't get prawn mee like that in sg, which is kinda sad. BUT there is a penang restaurant near my place and i will get down to checking it out SOON, i hope. my mom was very pleased with her grocery shopping done there, haha. my father and i were being twits walking around and pointing at all the food but not buying anything :D hahaha.
i think i should go running again. sheesh. don't you think outside food is so oily and expensive? home-cooked food is nicer :)
anyway now im going back to doing my work so bye. i hope to finish the first draft of it within uhm an hour more or so. my mom is in town getting food for xmas parties... hmm.
anyone got any good ideas on what i can give to a 12-year old boy? :/ i have no idea. and if i can't come up with anything, im just gna get a white shirt and draw some designs (hey i can draw rather cute cartoons okay and even mrs haugen said they were cute HAHA) on them and give it to him. if he doesn't like it, tough luck. haha.

i came back from malaysia on wednesday. i have a jap cousin but he isn't really very cool, sadly. i was gonna say he was mean but i realise that's a little harsh for a 7-year old.
i learnt how to say 'i want to sleep' in hokkien :D
and i still want a pair of guinea pigs so i am going to work really hard until the end of next year. yay i am so hardworking :/

this is my 400th post! (: haha.
anyway i think i've become crazy this week. i've fallen in love with 2 things. namely, they are:
1) guinea pigs! those that crystal and i saw at pet world were so furry and adorable. i wana pinch their noses.
2) RYOSUKE IRIE! :D and bird stop being silly, his nose isn't too big at all.
my cousin told me that chinchillas were better pets than guinea pigs but they're more expensive. heehee i made a deal with my mom and i am going to work hard to get a chinchilla! wheeee.
i just did some research and found out that the chinchilla was the cousin of the RAT :/ now tell me that isn't yucky. argh yucks, what if a rat comes sneaking around the house and decides to befried my innocent little chinchilla? even worse, what if they get along and the rat decides to make the chinchilla cage its new home!? omgzzz.
i think i'll get a guinea pig instead :D no, maybe i'll get TWO chinchillas... haha. i don't think my bear will like them. owell she's always damn grumpy. teehee. i must work hard! so i can get a cute furry pet of my own and i can play with my furry pet every day :) and i will treat it better than how i treated my rabbits last time when i was 10. ok i shall shut up cos i feel guilty for not playing with my rabbits when they were still around.
FULL HOUSE is a good korean drama! it's better than princess hours cos it makes much more sense. princess hours is actually very silly and it doesn't relate to real life. owell, stairway to heaven was and still is the best :D after i finish full house, im not gonna watch any more korean dramas for a long time. too much korean overload will make my brain go wonky and kdrama will lose its appeal! and that must not happen.
of course, you could bombard me with ALL THINGS JAP! :D i wouldn't mind them at all! except ayumi hamasaki's songs, eeuw.

syo camp was fun (: life-size table soccer was HILARIOUS again. i fell down on my back and joanne says that my legs flew upwards cos i was the only one in my row who ran and the others didn't :/ and i discovered the gecko! hahaha ok only some pple will get this. water bombs weren't quite the bomb but still fun. all our shirts were wet after that.
volleyball/captain's ball/monkey in the corridor was dumb and really funny at the same time. it was always elizabeth, joy, hannah, margaret, claire and i playing. poor margaret always got called to be the monkey :D oh and captain's ball on the first night was retarded. there were like 20 pple playing in such a small space! we played it until past midnight in the music studio and i got 4 blisters on my feet. owell it was still fun.
and we celebrated margaret's bday, which leening called a tea party. it was so sleepover-ish! :D we are such good friends ok. we ran out to the petrol station to get her chips, cookies, chocolate and some sweets! basically a lot of food. she said she was touched. awwwww hahah and she shared the chips with us hehe. we also went to the prata cafe and got her some paddle pop rainbow ice-cream that cost 60 cents. hahaha her reaction was damn funny. like, she was really shocked and stared at the ice-cream for a long time! you should have seen her face. then the others ordered drinks and i had chocolate prata, yay :)

the ri guys really don't know how to drink milo godzillas, dots -.-" they don't even finish the milo powder! what's the point of ordering a milo godzilla if you're not gna eat all the milo powder? urgh.
concert was alright. the catered packet dinners seem to be improving, which can only be a good thing. the tile from the ceiling backstage dropped omg. we all screamed, haha. mavis brought a pink flower for me and a notebook from paper people too! thanks mavis (: margaret SEXY has a -cough- crush on the ahem, SS! aka sexy saxaphonist. haha we tried to make her take a pic with him but too bad he disappeared so fast.
chippy's cheezy chicken is nice :D everyone go try it!
i love JAPAN :D cos of ryosuke irie! REMEMBER THE NAME! 16-year old boy who got GOLD for 200m back in the asian games! (yes la i watch it sometimes. i might not care much about swimming but that doesn't mean it doesn't excite me, especially when the jap swimmers are swimming!) omg he's fantastically cute and i love him. hah so there. at least now you guys will stop laughing at me for liking utt. he's superrrrrrrrrbly cute. lalala too bad i'll probably never get to see him in person ):
