higher chinese o's over = the end of my chinese education = end of secondary school life :)

next year MOE is combining the higher chinese and chinese syllabus -.-" then what's the point of taking HIGHER chinese anymore? won't the o-level paper be damn easy huh?! seriously lame. and to think that the standard of chinese in secondary schools isn't that great, now it's going to worsen! wow, what ever happened to our goal of being effectively bilingual?

yi4 lun4 wen2 FTW! the newspaper article reviews are getting WORSE with each year, seriously. haha PRAYS that we all do well. mieeeennn i hope the jiang classes helped :/ i hope i get B3! though knowing that after all the tuition and extra lessons and studying all the chinese stuff on inet (cheng yu, ming ren ming yan etc.), im not even capable of attaining an A is kinda... degrading and demoralising. haha. but we must set REALISTIC goals right.

i love joanneeee. we ate so much today (katsu sandwich LOVELOVELOVE, ice-cream, carrot cake/bacon bun from crystal jade) and i treated her to hokkaido ice-cream! yay i wanna sleep.

i just came back from church! :) boooo i have piano lesson tmrw and i haven't practiced and now it's too late to prac. owell. i love dbsk. and everyone shld take my advice and listen to sibelius violin concerto :D don't listen to joanne who says it isn't nice! grrrr my saint-saens cd screwed up on me. DIEEEEE.

IMSLP has been shut down following some complaints from universal music ): this is really such a loss. stupid UE. luckily i printed out romancha already! boooo you know there were so many liszt scores that i wanted to print but sadly they're gone now. bring IMSLP back!!!

school has been surpprisingly fun. we had class party on monday and ylang took so many silly pictures :D haha will upload them after hcl o's! i love the pic of fel and me eating the gummies. yay someone brought starbursts for the party. whoever you are, THANK THANKS THANKS A WHOLE LOT :D i love starbursts! and class spring cleaning turned out to be really fun! haha and ylang, YUHAN SHOWED ME HER DANCE! nehneh you weren't there to see it. haha.

lunch on monday was super hilarious. joanne and i went to food republic and i saw 4 ____! omg i was so super excited and couldn't stop grinning like some cheshire cat and i suddenly collided with joanne. anyway when i went to buy food, they had already left :( SADDDD.

and hardcore chinese class everyday has ended. there was an RI guy who could laugh louder than me + joanne + margaret COMBINED! omg hahaha sheesh. thanks joanne for being such a great seating partner and for your wingardium leviosa rubbish and everything else :D eh, the mosquito flew over there, you know? we are very resourceful people and discovered some new things this week which i would never have thought possible! thanks to joanne's keen eye for new observations ;)

dbsk's songs from their 1st live concert album, summer album and shine/ride on are really good! so is 'no pain no gain' and 'million men'! haha chaoying, you'll be pleased to know that i watched their banjun drama unforgettable love before netball carn. i liked junsu's story, though it turned out to be a hoax in the end -.-"

school is ending next friday! yay we're graduating! we made it :D next week i only have to attend school on wednesday and friday. whoooo! not that i want to go to rjc -.-" but i hope it'll be better than rgs. haha.

i didn't know isetan sold snoopy calendars. too bad i bought a hello kitty one about a month ago. argh it would be really wasteful and useless to buy a new one, wouldn't it? must learn to control my impulsivity D:< the hello kitty one was really nice too though.

we're going to japan! :D but not osaka ): i wonder whether we went to hideoshiogaka! (SPELLING?) some city in osaka. boooooo, no ryo ):

oh hahah ryosuke isn't competing in the swimming world cup held in singapore this weekend. hence, i do not care about it! haha i thought he was coming! luckily we didn't subscribe to supersports. haha.

shall be back after hcl o's. margaret isn't coming for syo later. who am i gonna sit with!!! and i heard that mr lim is pissed with us! whoops!

the sec 2 gang came over for lunch on monday (: we had teppanyaki and couldn't finish the spread! owell. germ didn't eat beef and squid. i ate the most. whoops. thanks kat for baking the cookies! we also baked brownies after lunch and sal, germ and i didn't have to anything other than pour the condiments into the mixing bowl cos kat the STRONG mixed everything up wonderfully (: ha, it helps to have a swimmer friend! NOT one that is retired like me! hahaha. they also kindly cooked dinner for me! WHOOOO :D

assessments for china studies/BBE have been successfully completed (: thank God i survived china studies. now there's only chem journal/quiz!

today i asked ylang to accompany me to the toilet and she agreed ONLY on the condition that i let her take a pic of me star-jumping outside the toilet. wthhh!!! so i did it and she timed the shot perfectly. yet another unflattering picture of me!

HI MARGARET, I MISS YOU VERY MUCH TOO :D DON'T PON SYO NEXT THURSDAY HAHAHA.

math was okay. forgot some stuff like notations even though i had much time to check so the marks gone here are super wasted, completely screwed up 1 question bcos the idea of factor theorem did not occur to me at all, couldn't do something which i always had trouble with and should have clarified about but didn't so i only have myself to blame. other than that, fine. chem paper sucked to the maximum. so much worse than my mid-year grade!!! SPA was average though i expected higher, PT was good enough but eoy marks were disgusting. it was easily the worst paper that i've ever done in my entire life.

heard that the school advertised for a new chemistry head of department in the classfied ads.

well, it DOES say something about the current chem depeartment, doesn't it? i don't think the mole is leaving. finally someone is taking a stand.

my grades are less than mediocre, as usual. but im used to it. this year i had other things which i deemed to be... of more importance. (pls don't holler "OMG! WHAT COULD BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN GRADES?" cos im not buying it) so im not regretting anything. okay, except freaking chem, which im still being sore about.

how can YOU wonder such a thing? isn't the answer blatantly dancing right in front of your eyes?

yeah, you failed. to what extent, i don't think im the best person to ask. but you failed, anyhow.

ended up eating dairy queen ice-cream like a sad person today with joanne. woe is me.

(ugh of course HE doesn't mind. it's not his paper!) but nvm. he seems super -.-" about everything to do with school, especially after he went for SPM and heard chicky. i am sure that his impression of the school diminished greatly. ha. whatever. we're leaving in about 3 weeks anyway. i think that's a good thing.

I LOVE DBSK :D math eoy is over and the last exam we have now is higher chinese o-levels!

math was okay, just that i forgot factor theorem existed. but i managed to solve for k! ha my answer was different from everyone else's though. too bad. at least my method was correct, i think O.o hope i do well enough for my maths grade to get 3.6 ): PLS PLS PLS PLS!

went for rjc open house today with bug/margaret who was around only half the time. cca booths were interesting, save for swimming which sucked. sorry, not being biased cos i have retired but it looked so boring that luckily the waterpolo guys took up all the seating space so it could look as if at least someone was actually manning the booth -.-" and LOL everyone seemed to avoid the china studies booth like the plauge. haha sorry but seriously, who WANTS to take china studies?

some of the clubs and societies looked cool like JAPANESE CULTURAL CLUB! :DDDDD which i want to join cos all the activities are jap-oriented and fun! hahaha. the guy at the booth helped margaret and me write our names in jap and when he was like, "er im not sure how to write KRUNCH", i just laughed wildly and gestured towards margaret, who turned away and stared at the railing fixatedly, though when she looked at me, she was super embarrassed. hahaha SORRY, LOVE YOU!

hahah PHYSICS SUCKS! it's a general consensus... right? :D

we also discovered that shaggy is a genius as he's on the dean's list for chem, physics and econs! SHEESH! haha and my chopin etudes sound sucky to the maximum! nehneh, or NAY NAY? -stares at bug and sniggers. oh yeah, everyone should try the new shrimp cutlet burger from mos burger. it's really yummy and they give lots of shrimp :D

ok so this will be an EXTREMELY LATE upload of photos from netball carn but i was really excited cos it was the first time i brought a camera to school for a big event! :) the photos are taking damn long to upload on photobucket. sheesh, SNAIL'S PACE. but i did promise myself that i would save the photos after math and anyway tmrw is saturday so i can sleep in! (for the 1st time after a month!)

ok i can't take it. the upload is freaking slow so i will upload the pics in another post by themselves. haha. tmrw we're watching lust, caution! hahahaha. im going out on a saturday afternoon and it's not for syo :D

i have found the willpower and motivation to exercise (i.e. go running, do cardio!) bcos i have put on 2kg since july... which is also the time i retired from swimming. @#&!*)@#!()@*$_!@*($!!!!! I AM CURSED BY THE GOD OF FATNESS! GO HIEW! PWN THE GOD OF FATNESS! hope i can go swimming at the hwa chong pool. like, just pay 50 cents for entry or smth. haha yay (:

netball carn yesterday was the best in the course of 4 years!

we got 2nd (aiya, sad that we didn't win anything for the banner) and wreaked our revenge for last year against them :D they are damn arrogant.

the cheer was really cute. who dares to mess with us will be prata! we should cook prata. eh my only complaint is that during the games i was the only one who would jump and bounce and scream while cheering! wah. make me look like the only fool ):

class lunch at pizza hut after that with 2/3 of the class in attendance :D that's considered excellent for us already. haha. the pizza crust was really oily :/ and the cheezy pizza thingy had way too much cheese.

then beihan, sihui and i went to serene centre (MY HOME!) and i got macs fries for the first time in about a year (seriously!!! haha KOWA CHAO YING). so they kept making me eat more cos i'd been "deprived". actually i don't think i've been cos i've found better food :D haha. i have some funny photos of sihui, who has multiple personalities like ahpek, normal sihui, F6 sihui, sihui with double chin :D hahah.

i will post photos the next time!!! :D yay 407 rocks! and if you don't agree, you will become prata/chaota/whatever limin says in the cheer (:
