do i owe this blog the honour of writing an obligatory end-of-year post? haha well tmrw is the new year and on wednesday i'll be going to bishan, not anderson road anymore and it's gonna be my school for the next 2 years.
there are many thoughts swirling around in my mind. it feels like a whirlpool, so many things inside but yet i can't seem to get anything out. haha.
but as always, every year is memorable and this year is no different. i didn't do well in school, what's new? i cut back on swimming a whole lot more this year too and decided to become more enthu in SYO instead and i think it was one of the best decisions i made this year :D in fact, i think the best things this year are SYO-related. i love the pictures the rgs sec 4's take after every concert and we only started the trend this year. they are my favourite pictures. every time i look at them, i can feel the LOVE and WARMTH radiating :) haha i think the highlight of next year will be the SYO trip to italy where margaret can rap joanne a bday rap again and perhaps orientation too, as some of the seniors say that orientation will be some of the most enjoyable days in jc life.
thanks to 407 for being nice and for making it a rather conducive studying environment huh :) i will miss the fun we had together at netball carn 2007 and the class lunch after that. i'll miss the silly talking sessions that germ and i had at the back of class, laughing at things no one else would understand. i'll miss tickling chaoying's chin, making vivien scream, making fel/limin/jianghe/sam laugh at me doing smth stupid -.-"
and i want to thank JOANNE the most of all, for popping into class all the time to tell me really lame stuff or to wake me up and practically shout in my ear "WAKE UP SLOTH" when im sleeping in class as usual. hahaha you brightened up this whole year a lot :D it has been so much more fun with you around and we have damn good telepathy, rmb the countless times we would bump into each other when we were trying to find each other? hahah and the times we sat together in the hall even though we were supposed to be in classes. or how about crapping in the library while doing chinese with margaret? or throwing things at each other and doing "magic tricks" (mostly you!) and trying to smack the nonexistent fly of each other's faces. hahaha. anw we must celebrate our 10th year friendship anniversary next year with much aplomb :D and don't say smth to do with a bomb, sheesh. i love your rhymes, continue rhyming please. and I LOVE YOU x1000000000 YOU ARE PRICELESS, i hope that we will be laughing and rhyming till we're gray and old.
and MARGARET, DEBORAH, MIFIONA! the other rgs sec 4's. thanks for making each rehearsal and concert a whole lot of fun. margaret, you are so hilarious, please keep this spirit up in jc. i love you all!
GERM im so glad that we were in the same class for 4 years :) thanks for always being patient with me while teaching me math and for looking out for me ALWAYS, even when i don't ask you to. you're like my mom :) hahaha but that's why i love you!
VIVIEN! ha thanks for everything even though you always suan me. you are a really talented and nice person. i can't believe you couldn't get enough of suaning me, you even had to do it in my christmas card. but guess what! SOME OF YOUR PREDICTIONS CAME TRUE :D :D :D so thanks for always being so EXCITED for me. lol, even though i don't appreciate it some times.
CHAOYING! i know you can't tag my board for some strange reason but i hope you're reading this. thanks for being so super crappy and for starting the kiapping motion. you brought lots of laughs into my sec 3/4 life. sorry if i was always rolling my eyes at you when we first met each other. you turned out to be a fantastic friend, i only hope that you do not love the beef at my house more than you love me!

QUICK FICS! fangling izzy crystal. it's great that we're still keeping in touch cos i dunno how many people do that since primary school days... i always have no problem opening myself up and laughing like crazy around you all and i hope it always stays that way! i love you all.
i had the best holidays in a long time! not just because of our japan trip where i did NOT meet ryosuke or any lookalike. but it doesn't matter :) this hol was significantly different cos i didn't have to train at all so i was always waking up at around 8 smth. lol. anyway a lot of things this hol were to do with music and that was really great.
ok anyway i also would like to thank my octet members for providing me with such fun a week before school started. thanks for teaching me how to appreciate chamber music if not i'd still think it was damn boring :D thanks joanne for always making me laugh, margaret for her leadership and her hilariousness, deborah for her cool-headedness all the time, adriel for being enthu, wang xiang for always being the 100% nice guy, matthew for always being punctual and for saying random things that are sometimes really funny, xue qian for being nice. haha :)
thanks to other people like limin, sam, jianghe, lee jing my favourite syo junior (who WILL come to italy next year okay!!! don't care about HER)! no thanks to louis for always suaning me but thanks for providing me with so much interesting NEWS anyway. hahaha. and your cake will not be WOAHHHH, i hope my cake's bigger than yours. haha whatever :D hah we shall see on 5th march!

im super sleepy... anyway!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
it's christmas eve today and it'll be christmas day tmrw!
haha. had octet rehearsal yesterday sans darling deborah (WE MISSED YOU!!!) and everyone managed to find my house! haha yay. then quick fics came for a sleepover after that. i bought waaaay too many snacks for everyone :/ but it was fun! especially when izzy shouted at crys, "HI AUNTY!" and the rubbish about don juan. hahaha.
okay im too sleepy to continue and furthermore, there's this syo assessment on wednesday, which is also the day RIGHT AFTER christmas. delightful timing, no? and i only started practicing yday URRRGGGH? jaslyn and i were freaking out together, haha. guess i have to spend christmas day with my violin! not that i mind very much :) but i hate mendelssohn. anw it's christmas. we should not hate!
and i have SIX new books to finish reading before school starts, which is next thursday! okay, see what i am doing? reading storybooks instead of any school texts. well done! at least im not taking economics! anyway, labyrinth by KATE MOSSE (not kate moss the supermodel! haha ck will be sad!) looks really fabulous :D
i need someone to teach me about vectors for math! okay maybe i'll just learn it properly next year >.<

i met rachel at mandeville during some group class one day when we were trying to EAT ROSIN! :D HAHAHAHA!
anyway today i was super unlucky. i missed my bus stop cos i was dreaming and at the next one some bloody noob carbuncle parked his car there when he obviously wasn't supposed to so the bus couldn't get into the bus lane and just drove off to the next stop so i only could alight at 6th avenue and had to trudge back up the hill. suppurating gumball >:[ then it started raining and i almost slipped. i was feeling rather cross by then so i felt like kicking this rock on the ground, but luckily i realised that this peculiar "rock" had CONTOURS on it. turned out that it was a piece of dog shit. yucks. also, i didn't realise the hill was so high. my fitness has obviously taken a turn for the worse. i felt a bit like a raving lunatic so i started waving my umbrella at these crows but they just scrambled away and the water all flew into my nose instead and i started coughing. and when i got home, my mom said she had gone to visit my new niece, who was born yesterday. sadly, i did not get to go along!!! mien, i wanted to buy her a nice balloon!

yada just sent me a message on facebook and im so excited :D hahaha. argh, will we ever see the thai players again?
and WISHWIN! i always thought his name was willy O.o
haha our YO batch should go to bangkok and watch their year-end concert or smth in bangkok after a-levels (: joanne said that they were laughing at me when kan said that they initially invited some japanese musicians to come but they couldn't make it cos THEY WERE STILL HAVING SCHOOL ): urgh my face totally fell and margaret the mean turned to grin at me stupidly.
joanne came over today and it was super fun! (: we met a small german boy at the park and he was really funny. he sang happy birthday in a few warped versions, suaned me for not being able to rollerblade properly (WTH! YOU DIE! but i will not come after you cos you're a little kiddy) and kept throwing his soccer ball at us. tsk, we kept laughing at all the comments made by SOMEONE. btw joanne, you left your quartet scores here but i'll return it to you on the 23rd or whenever the next practice is. and rmb to invite margaret/deb/me to your house on 28th :D haha.

a mosquito just bit my left cheek! damn itchy. i hate mozzies.
saw cheryl last weekto watch the violin comp on sat :D went out with quah, fang and izzy after that for a psuedo-mg outing. haha. everything was fun, except that the ben&jerry's ice-cream prices have risen AGAIN but too bad, we had to buy it cos we needed somewhere to sit and talk. everyone should just get their ice-cream fix from island creamery, seriously.
the bite is swelling. bloody mosquito.

wait, im back. i just read some of my syo juniors' blogs (okay we don't really call them our juniors but in this case, i don't want to name the people one by one haha) and im really happy that they are so enthu about YO in general :) lol it's really nice to hear them say they had fun at camp and how the concert was really fun and all. i think it must be strauss that got to everyone. haha :D im not in the comm but in violin 2 section, jinghui margaret and i have been there the longest out of everyone, which is only 2+ years and not that long really. haha. and it's just very nice to see all the younger pple being so eager and enthu about everything. well my section's fine except for one person i completely dislike, everyone knows who that is huh.
wheee. can't wait to go back for YO next year. hope the pieces are nice. hope our octet will become more fun too and that cellist no 2 will join YO so 8 of us will all be inside hahaha :D im being so enthu about YO (learning from the juniors hahaha), i don't think i was ever this enthu about swimming. owell. this holiday has been majorly great and a huge reason is that there's no such thing as trg to contend with anymore :D so no more waking up at 6.30am. actually i feel as if i quit last year already, i went trg like 8 times in 2 months. owell. whatever. i don't think i'll join swimming in rj cos of italy :) mien! so exciting! we'll be celebrating joanne's birthday in italy with lots of pasta/pizza/desserts! haha hopefully :D omgomg and rmb our lousy plan to toss margaret into ___'s room? don't think it'll happen now.
i blogged such a long post, which is a rarity now isn't it? i bet margaret's grinning like a cheshire cat. are you in taiwan reading this?

i have been asked to blog! so in a nutshell, we visited practically the whole of kyushu. (hakata, yufuin, beppu, ibusuki, saga, nagasaki) haha. the food everywhere was so yummy and i ate the no. 1 croquette in japan! :D haha the kaiten sushi was so fun. slept a lot on the trip too cos we kept taking the train and the movement of the train makes one sleepy. the best place was yufuin. the lonely planet guidebook does not do that beautiful place justice AT ALL. it's a quaint little town with the most fabulous little shops selling all sorts of things like cakes/hello kitty things/dog stuff/bread/homemade tofu!!! yum! ya and i went a bit mad and bought this hello kitty set with 7 hello kittys' inside and they all play musical instruments. hahaha. i put it on the piano.
last week was syo camp/rehearsals/concert, which saw 4 days of fun :) great friends, great music. death and transfiguration sounded good, all thanks to mr lim. i think d&t has made me see him in a completely new light. he worked really hard. pls clap for him! next concert we're playing some tchaikovsky and shosty, who also happens to be joanne's best friend next to frosty the snowman :)
the 4th finger of my left hand feels like it's gonna drop off so i shall go off now. wheee i got 3 books from borders today. yay. 'the other boleyn girl' has been made into a movie so when it comes to sg i will watch it :D the book's interesting!

photobucket sucks. it is not letting me finish uploading FAM photos (yes, way overdue), japan trip photos, random photos and syo camp/concert photos. as such, i am very displeased.
anyway syo concert was funnn, and so was this whole week :) i saw CHERYLLLL yesterday and omg i went super high! haha island creamery pleaseeee. and our octet's coming along rather nicely, margaret should be happy about that. bad thing is that we have to find about 8 minutes worth of random xmas/pop pieces but i think we can just sightread those on stage since everyone hates practicing them anyway. and wang xiang is super funny haha.
