ooh now i have 2 more new books. my mom let me get 'a thousand splendid suns' as an extremely EARLY birthday present hahaha and i had a $20 borders gift card from my aunt for christmas so i got sepulchure by kate mosse, which i hope is as good as labyrinth, and paid the balance of $3.95 yay (: sepulchure is apparently a piece of piano music composed by debussy who was french. kate mosse lives in southern france and all her books have some french element to them... ck!!! you should read them since you love france/all things french. i have no idea when i am going to finish all these unread books, i have like 8 in total, including artemis fowl which was bought YEARS ago but i really dislike science-fiction. owell. and nick lent me a book too which i should finish first so i can return it to him asap >.< baaaahhh.
ok i decided to delete this part of my post that i posted yesterday bcos it was emo and i don't think it's good for my health to be emo -.-" lol.
i rather enjoy going for student development classes aka sex education with 09SO3A cos xiaowen makes funny comments, gregory always gets scolded and arias laughs as if a bomb has exploded inside her. hah. i might be quiet in class and some people have said that i should "MAKE NOISE" but i still find my classmates entertaining and most people are nice and i think class learning journey/class camp/class CIP will turn out to be enriching :) lalala.
OG dinner last sat was really fun (although only about 1/3 of the OG was present). walked to botanic gardens after SYO where the BW house outing was held and stayed there for nearly an hour before going to the food court at plaza sing for dinner. we talked about anything and crapped and i laughed till my head hit the table :D haha BW 08 rocks :D
this friday to saturday is swim camp (YES, I JOINED SWIMMING and the reactions i have got to that are mixed, LOL) and i hope i can pull through the swimming aspect. never thought there would be training. ARGH. i haven't swum since last july. help. anw im happy that i will get to see KAT and talk to her, just like how i did today and it was really enjoyable just like old times and we agree that someone is mean D:< and i will be going for the camp at like 10pm cos before that margaret and i will be watching the sarah chang concert. sibelius! :D joanne is a poo who does not like the sibelius violin concerto.
ok gotta go read econs now, i slept for 1 hour when i came home. yay -.- new dbsk songs are good, so are lifehouse songs and um... chopin ballades! they sound kind of sad and emo but that's why i like them. haha. i think i can only blog only once a week, hope you all don't neglect my blog or smth lol.

finally, some jap words which are the title of a dbsk song by junsu! i think it is pronounced as "shi ta ma ma, sa yo na ra". haha am i correct? i still remember hiragana, though my jap still sucks which kinda explains why im not continuing with jap lessons anymore and i should use that brain space for chem or smth. yuhan takes H2 japanese in rj though, she is a cooolioozzz unlike me. i still like jap, it's really cool!!! ):

my blog isn't dead! haha. i finished bio tutorial last weekend, that's why im here now. i could be finishing chem tutorial on stupid moles which makes me O.o but nvm, im quite sleepy.
last week our OG celebrated tue's and geri's birthdays! HAPPY BIRTHDAY :D went out for OG dinner last friday but only about a quarter of the OG went. hahaha it was really great seeing all of them again, i love BW 08 like crazy. study session in the library before that was more futile than productive. sheesh.
tutorials started last week! i think there's another bio tutorial coming soon and there's so much of chem which is really crappy.
orientation 2 is coming! (: haha so exciting, despite it being only one day! i complained to my dad that one day was too short and he said, "orientation again, every day there's orientation right? how many days do you want it to be? 4 days again? come back so late every day blah blah blah..." whatever, the prospect of running around and having fun with BW 08 is too tantalizing to resist :D really really really love BW 08!!!!!

im waiting for some food in the oven to cook right now so that's why im here! actually i could be reading labyrinth, which is a really cool book by kate mosse. haha. it's very long and seems draggy at first but then you realise that all the details fit the puzzle beautifully. then by around page 400+ you can understand everything that was going on. the book has 504 pages. i must say that the author portrayed the atrocities of the cathar crusade in the 13th century really well and southern france is so rich in history and sounds like a great place to visit. and her vision is really epic in scope but it's not just a historical thriller story like da vinci code cos there's also the element of romance thrown in. so glad that alais and guilhem ended up together in the end :) shweeet. labyrinth is excellent stuff and it won the best read at the british book awards last year, i think. everyone who doesn't mind books which are more than 500 pages long should read it! anyway why am i blabbing on about a book?

anyway, had BWMR'kistan today, which was a BW and MR combined house party. lol, quite fun, though at the start half the OG was being bored in the canteen but we had winston and hua qun to entertain us. and hweeleong's kindergarten lesson was really hilarious too. we played captain's ball then had dinner and watched some performances. haha then our OG went to J8 to buy ice-cream but i didn't buy anything. owell.
im in 09S03A. it's fine there, most people are enthu except a few... like me -.-" i am successfully working towards my new year resolution to be quiet and serene, like my name suggests. my class takes BCME (bio chem maths econs). i don't want to take music anymore cos they're learning about asian/gamelan music which i have zero interest in. i think econs would be more relevant and interesting.
btw i think rj school food is better than in rgs. haha. some seniors said that you would lose weight in jc while others said you might gain a lot of weight -.-" argh. my class eats a lot, from what i have observed. like during every break they will eat something.
ok im going to finish compiling my list of expenses for the month. hahah rj is an expensive place to be in! bye :)

first day of lessons today. i had chem, PE and econs with free blocks in between. had OG lunch after that. haha.
orientation ended yesterday. quite sad about it but all good things have to come to an end. i don't even know what to say... actually i have MANY things to say, just that nothing seems to be coming out.
but i do know that BW 08 WAS THE BEST OG :D ONITE CHAMPIONS!!! our item was damn good! feel the spirit of takboleh tahan! everyone turned up for the rehearsal on saturday to dance at esplanade for about 5 hours when they could have been at home doing other more fun things. whooooooo! thanks jon for choreographing such a great dance!
we were the most enthu OG, i should think. on the first night we definitely went home the latest! haha. all the games and activites and sentosa were so fun :D and we also had the best OGLs! siti syafiq hweeleong!
ok yay now BW 08 has our own table in the canteen and we met at our tavern this morning. hope everyone goes there tmrw too >.<
